The mixed media project, Red, explores my connection with the impactful colour, as well as the associations so many of us have with the wonderful yet confronting hue. The works investigate the tension between the desire to both recoil from and lean into the intense and volatile emotions and experiences of life.

My first Red film was an awarded commission featured in the Glass Meet the Future Film Festival 2023 with Northlands Creative in Scotland. In 2024 I exhibited the film, alongside a new second film and physical works at the Grey Street Gallery, Queensland College of Art and Design, Brisbane.
